Ph.D. in Public Health -Walden University?
Sasha asked:
I am in California and am thinking about getting a Ph.D. in public health (epidemiology) from Walden. They are an online school. They are accreddited, but would this degree hold up in California? Does anyone have input?

Walden is a For Profit corporation. While it is accredited, it is not respected. Getting a PhD from Walden probably won’t help you get an academic job and won’t help you a lot with jobs in industry.
Get a PhD at a school that is respected.
