I am interested in attaining a Master’s in Public Health before going to Medical school, then?
CandyKisses asked:
Which track is better?
I am applying to the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ, but I need help deciding which track will be more helpful for medical school.
Ive already decided to attain the MPH degree, but they have 3 divisions that seem relevant in helping me become a better doctor.
1.Quantitive Methods:Biostatistics and Epidemiology
2.Urban Health Adminstration
3.Health Education and Behavorial Science
Just a quick question for those that know about these things
Im not going to graduate school because I think it will boost my chances of getting into medical school. But a masters in public health is DEFINITELY a relevant degree for doctors. Thus, that is why many schools are offering MD/MPH programs now. So my question, for those out to help, is, which program would help me better IN medical school

I guess it depends on what you want to do with your life. Having the advanced degree won’t help you get into or through med school, so I can only assume you are looking at a career in public health.
Whichever of the three choices best fits your future plans is what you should study.
Which program will help you connect with networks that will function for you when you will perform your best work.
